Mark is the President of Networks Unlimited. He founded the company in 2001 after years in the technology industry.
Mark has lived in Maryland, Spain, Washington DC, Germany, California, South Dakota, and Mississippi as a military brat. He met his wife Amy, a Grand Junction local, in college. After living in Seattle for a few years, they decided Grand Junction was a better place to raise their family.
In his free time, you can find Mark hunting, mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a fantastic chef, who shares his gift with NU’s staff by cooking up breakfast and lunch when they’re good.
Preston, Vice President
Preston is Vice President and Service Manager at Networks Unlimited and has been with the company since 2005. He has been in the information technology field since 1990 after graduating with an Associates in Applied Science in Electronics.
He was born in Sacramento, but his parents moved him and his brother to the area because they thought Grand Junction was a more suitable place to raise their two boys.
His family owns a share in a houseboat buoyed at Bullfrog Marina, so he tries to sneak out early on Fridays to go boating at Lake Powell. Preston also likes to golf and travel with his family as much as he possibly can.
Darrell, Customer Success Manager
Darrell was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He formerly worked in the construction field but wanted a warm inside office job, so he went to school for computer programming.
The company he went to work for after school transferred him to their corporate office in Las Vegas and then relocated their corporate office to Grand Junction where he eventually joined forces with Mark and Preston. At Networks, he focuses on the customer. Darrell coordinates all projects to ensure our clients get the BEST experience with the least confusion.
When asked about what he is magnificent at he says, “I feel that I am really good at fixing things, just not vehicles.” In his free time, Darrell loves spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He also loves going on road trips with their motorcycle.
Robert Benjamin, Director of Managed Services
Robert joined Networks Unlimited in 2006 as Director of Managed Services. Robert has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Purdue University.
His professional career in Information Technology has included stops in Minneapolis, Wichita, Milwaukee and Atlanta before arriving in Grand Junction.
Robert spent his childhood summers on his Grandfather’s cattle ranch in the Unaweep Canyon, and always knew he would end up living on the Western Slope. Robert is a proud fan of every Chicago sports team (his birthplace) – especially the Bears and the Blackhawks. He is a Rotarian with the Horizon Sunrise Rotary in Grand Junction. Robert and his wife, Elizabeth, enjoy travel and peace and quiet when they aren’t entertaining their 11 nieces and nephews.
Rob Burkey, Account Manager
Robert, or Rob, as most people know him, is originally from Grand Junction. He is the outside sales consultant and account manager for Networks Unlimited.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management, he spent a few years in New Mexico and Denver. He later returned to Grand Junction with his wife to raise his two daughters.
When Rob isn’t working, he and his family have a lot of fun. He may be in the kitchen following a new recipe or making a creation of his own! “I am a good chef. I love to cook, try new things and am always looking to improve a dish that I make,” says Rob. He and his family can also be found enjoying the outdoors whether it is skiing, hiking, at a sporting event, or at a classic car show. He and his family often have a restoration project of their own going on.
Lee, Account Manager
Lee is an Account Manager at Networks Unlimited’s Montrose Location. He covers a wide area including Montrose, Delta, Cedaredge, Hotchkiss, Paonia, Ouray, Ridgway, Gunnison, and Telluride. Lee helps business owners evaluate, implement, and utilize technology to meet their needs of activities and challenges.
Lee grew up in Atlanta, GA. After living in the Alaskan Bush for two years, he moved to Montrose with his wife. They chose this location based on the input from former Coloradans living in Alaska who told them that it was an excellent place to live! When Montrose High School offered Lee’s wife a position as a guidance counselor, they made a move.
In his free time, Lee enjoys hiking, fly fishing, traveling the world, and camping with his wife and young son.
Derek, Account Manager
Derek will be assisting the Account Manager in Grand Junction. He will be providing support with the sales of hardware and software products, as well as assisting with quotes, and sourcing equipment and products.
Derek grew up in Delta, Colorado and moved to Grand Junction recently for new opportunities. He has two children, a 17-year-old son, and a 13-year-old daughter and two Yorkies.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, spending time with his family and everything that has to do with the outdoors.
Meghann, Sales Coordinator
Meghann is your “go-to” person if you have any questions about hardware or software that you are looking to purchase. As Sales Coordinator for Networks Unlimited, she is in charge of all quotes and orders for our customers, no matter if it is the equipment for an entirely new building or just one replacement power cord.
Meghann grew up on the front range of Colorado and now lives on the Western Slope with her husband, Andy, and daughter, Quincy.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, yoga, and gardening with Quincy.
Judy, Accounting Manager
Judy is the Accounting Manager at Networks Unlimited. If you have any billing questions or need to make a payment, Judy is your lady!
She grew up in Montrose, Colorado and has always loved the outdoors.
Some of Judy’s favorite things to do are dirt biking, snowmobiling, hiking, spending time in the mountains, exploring old mines, and traveling. Vancouver British Columbia is one of her favorite places to visit.
Hunter, Accounting Assistant
As the Accounting Assistant at Networks Unlimited, Hunter takes customer payments, helping answer billing questions, and other accounting duties.
Hunter was born and raised in Montrose, Colorado. She moved to Grand Junction in 2012 to attend Colorado Mesa University where she will graduate this December with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
As a native Colorado girl, Hunter enjoys hiking, camping, jeeping, and shooting. She also really enjoys playing volleyball, and spending quality time with her dogs, a black lab/pit mix, and a German Shepherd
Laura, Marketing Manager
Laura is the Marketing Manager for Networks Unlimited. She creates content for all platforms of social media, as well as enhancing the Networks brand and community connection.
Laura grew up in Northwest Iowa working on the family farm during the week and relaxing during the summer weekends at Lake Okoboji. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Marketing before heading west to Colorado to advance her marketing career.
In her free time, Laura likes to be mountain biking with her husband, taking her dogs for hikes, hitting the road for new adventures with friends, and playing in the water on her SUP board.
Joe, Sr. Network Engineer
He is a Network Engineer for Networks Unlimited and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Mesa State College. He also has numerous certifications including Cisco CCNA, and Network +.
Joe was born and raised on a farm in Fruita, Colorado and is currently living on the same property today. He gets to travel to the East Coast often to visit his wife’s family.
Joe is an excellent problem solver and says, “I also have an uncanny knack for being able to read the most boring technical documentation and not falling asleep. I’m also really really good at digging ditches, go figure.”
Gibran, Network Engineer
He first became interested in IT after visiting family in California who works in the technology industry. Since 2008, Gibran has worked and gained professional experience in IT in Grand Junction. We are excited to have him continue his career in IT with Networks Unlimited.
Gibran has grown up in various parts of the valley and lived in Palisade, Grand Junction, and Fruita.
When asked what his favorite part of working in IT is he says, ”I like that every day is different.” When he isn’t at the office, Gibran likes to play competitive CSGO, collect foreign money and Pokemon cards, and play blackjack.
Drew, Network Engineer
He earned a degree in Network Information Technology and uses it as a network engineer with Networks Unlimited. Drew’s certifications include CSS Customer Service by ETA, CompTIA A+ Certified, Brainbench certified in Microsoft Security and Storage Area Networks and most recently earned his CCNA Certification. He also has two years of advanced 3D computer animation and computer art education; now a hobby.
Drew is originally from New Mexico but has lived in Grand Junction since 2001. He started working with Networks Unlimited in 2008.
If he isn’t working with a computer, Drew is spending time with his family, including his teenage daughter Makenzy, riding dirt bikes, fishing, or training for a fight. He is also the reigning undefeated Street Fighter 2 Tournament Champion of Western Colorado.
Mike, Network Engineer
He joined the Network Unlimited team as a Help Desk Technician and is now working as a Network Engineer. Mike has been interested in computers, and working on them for years. He holds his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science Information Technology from Colorado Mesa University. On top of that, he is pursuing a certification for Cisco CCNA.
Mike is from Grand Lake, Colorado where he grew up enjoying water sports and fishing since his parents owned a marina there.
Since growing up exposed him to all the wonders of the outdoors, Mike likes to be hiking or fishing and is also an avid mountain biker, and he hits the local trails any chance he can. If you see him out, say hello!
Christian, Network Engineer
He is joining NUcrew as a Network Engineer. As a Network Engineer, Christian will be heading out on site to solve customer’s complex technology problems.
Christian was born in Grand Junction, raised in Summit County and returned to GJ for college. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Though Christian spends his days working on computers and fixing networking problems, he also enjoys playing with computers in his free time. He also enjoys music and movies, like Happy Gilmore and Project X. Christian is recently engaged and has a house full of pets (two cats and a dog).
Caleb, Field Technician
As a Field Technician, Caleb will be able to work on customer solutions at their facility or help with more complex problems when customers call into NUcrew.
Caleb was born and raised in Mesa County. He holds certifications in two separate phone systems, Aeonix and MiVoice Office 250, making him an enormous asset to work on our business phone solution, NUvoice.
Caleb is lucky that most of his family also live in Mesa County. He enjoys spending time with them and his two Golden Retrievers. He also likes to play board games and video games when he is not working.
Beau, Managed Services Administrator II
Beau is one of the Managed Services Administrators at Networks Unlimited. He manages customer data backups and performs preventative maintenance and active monitoring on servers. He also assists with the Office 365 migrations and Microsoft SharePoint projects.
Beau grew up in Black Hawk, Colorado. He moved to Grand Junction for college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in May of 2015.
In his free time, Beau enjoys playing video games, lifting weights, snowboarding, playing guitar, kayaking, fishing, and camping.
Cherie, Managed Services Administrator
At Networks Unlimited Cherie works as a Managed Services Administrator. She performs preventative maintenance visits, and completes special projects for customers and internally for our staff.
Cherie was born and raised in Colorado, living in Grand Junction for most of her life. She completed her first BA in psychology with a minor in sociology at Metropolitan State College- Denver. Cherie is currently working on obtaining a BS in computer science through a Regis University online program. She is also on the board of directors for the Community Food Bank.
Cherie has been skydiving twice, whitewater rafting three times and hiked two 14,000ft mountains. During the brief moments, she has downtime she enjoys spending time with her pre-teen daughter, hiking, traveling, going to festivals and doing pretty much nothing at all.
Terry, Managed Services Administrator
Terry is one of the Managed Services Administrators at Networks Unlimited. He works closely with our customers to monitor and prevent problems from happening. These functions can include backups, Office 365, email filtering, and anti-virus.
Terry was born in Rifle, Colorado and moved to the area in 2006 when his employer opened a Grand Junction branch. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado. Terry is also a member of the Mesa County Search and Rescue Ground Team and an amateur radio operator.
Terry enjoys getting outside with his wife and three kids when he is away from the office. They enjoy hiking and camping with their dog, Bodie.
Dan, Managed Services Administrator
Dan comes to Networks Unlimited as a Managed Services Administrator ad holds various telecom certifications, as well as First Aid/AED/CPR and a couple years towards his Networking Degree. He is planning on finishing up his degree at Colorado Mesa University.
Dan is originally from Madison, Ohio, but he is making his way to Grand Junction via Phoenix, AZ. Dan’s wife is originally from the area and they decided to move back to provide their son with a better place to grow up.
Dan and his family are going to spend a lot of their free time exploring all that Grand Junction and the surrounding area has to offer! In addition to that, he enjoys fishing, playing video games, learning anything and everything he can and spending time with family, friends and his Pit/Yellow lab mix and cat.
Mike, Dispatch Coordinator
Mike is the Dispatcher for Networks Unlimited. He completes the scheduling of Engineers for hardware and software installation and emergency situations where client’s networks are affected. If you need anything scheduled on-site, Mike will be your primary point of contact.
Mike was born in Colorado Springs but moved to Grand Junction when he was seven years old. He enjoyed growing up here so much that he decided to stay as an adult.
In his free time, Mike enjoys playing video games with his friends and producing videos and music. Playing games helps Mike de-stress after a long day.
Chris, Remote Support Specialist
As a Remote Support Specialist, Chris solves any technical or physical problems with equipment either remotely, or in the shop.
Chris was born in Puyallup, Washington until he was four, then his parents decided to move to the Grand Valley. He grew up working for his father in an auto body shop but quickly learned that his passion was for technology. Chris graduated from Mesa Valley Vision and is currently working towards TWO Associates Degrees from Colorado Mesa University; one in Technology Integration and the other in Electronics.
Outside of work you can find Chris playing paintball, wakeboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking! On days when he feels like relaxing a bit more, he will head out to Canyon View Park and read or stay inside and play video games.
Craig, Remote Support Specialist
Currently, Craig works at the help desk/shop area here at NU. Craig is currently enrolled at Western Colorado Community College in the Network Technician program.
Craig was born in Ruidoso, New Mexico, lived in Enid, Oklahoma for a few years, then came to Grand Junction, Colorado when his parents decided to move here to enjoy the mountains and the outdoors.
Craig and his wife Sandy, have been married for 26 years; they have three kids, and seven grandkids. Craig enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, reading sci-fi/fantasy books, and playing PC based computer games.
Mason, Remote Support Specialist
Mason joins Networks Unlimited as part of our help desk team. Our Remote Support Specialists are the first responders who initially help our customers with their technical problems. They are wonderful at multi-tasking and solving problems quickly and efficiently.
He has lived all over the place growing up, including California, Montana, Arizona, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado. Throughout his years, he has lived in Grand Junction off and on.
In Mason’s free time he enjoys playing PC games, shooting rifles, skating/hockey, and spending time with family, friends and his dog Kipsy.
Kyle, Remote Support Specialist
At Networks Unlimited Kyle is a Remote Support Specialist. He is the front line for fixing customer problems that range from resetting passwords to troubleshooting email issues to connecting devices to computers. Anything that can be solved remotely, Kyle is there to help!
Kyle was born and raised in Grand Junction, which means he is an avid Colorado fan, no matter what sport.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing games, including PUBG, Dota, and MTG. Kyle is also a big music fan. It helps him unwind and de-stress.
Jessica, Remote Support Specialist
We are fortunate to add Jessica’s skills to NUcrew as a remote support specialist. She comes to us with a background in network operations, web portals, and client services, with previous experience as a help desk technician.
Jessica has been born and raised in Grand Junction. She attended the Cisco Academy, which led to her passion for technology. Jessica is now attending Colorado Mesa University, focusing on Network Engineering.
As a true Coloradan, Jessica enjoys visiting the hot springs around the state. When not working, she spends time with her kitten, Kevin.
Tom, Remote Support Specialist
Tom is one of our Remote Support Specialists who serve as the first responder when you are having problems. When you call our Help Desk, Tom is one of the team members who remotes into your computer to fix the problem quickly.
Tom hails from Glendale, California, but decided to move to the Grand Valley in 2012 because he just loved the outdoor amenities the area has to offer.
In his free time, Tom enjoys riding his motorcycle, hiking, and fishing. It is no surprise with his hobbies that his favorite place to visit is Moab. Tom is also passionate about dog rescue. He has MANY pets of his own, due to his work with rescues.
Brian, Computer Technician
As the Computer Technician in the Montrose location, Brian provides technical support for walk-in customers as well as diagnose and repair any hardware or software problems with desktop or laptop computers. Brian completes malware removals, program installations, and resolves any Windows or networking related issues.
Brian grew up and graduated college in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He moved to Colorado in 2009 and had lived in Steamboat Springs and moved to Montrose in March. Brian holds his CompTIA A+ certification.
During Brian’s free time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his fiance and their dogs. His sport of choice is disc golf, but he also likes getting his hands dirty in his garden.
Brandon, Remote Support Specialist
Brandon is part of the team you talk to when things go wrong. As a Remote Support Specialist with Networks Unlimited, he can troubleshoot problems like helping you reset your password, creating a formula in that Excel spreadsheet, or mapping a printer to your computer.
Born in Rifle, Colorado, Brandon was raised all over the State but has spent the majority of his life in Colorado Springs and the Grand Valley. He moved back to our area in 2008 to be closer to his family.
Brandon enjoys computers outside of work too! He likes PC gaming in his spare time. Specifically ARK & Startrek online. Brandon also enjoys building computers, disk golfing, and designing things in AutoCAD.
Stuart, Remote Support Specialist
Stuart is your first contact at Networks Unlimited when you have computer questions. As a Remote Support Specialist with Networks Unlimited, he can troubleshoot problems remotely, so there is less downtime for you!
Stuart moved here from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania four years ago after visiting his father here. He fell in love with the Grand Valley for the scenery and the proximity to snowboarding. Stuart is currently working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Mobile Development.
In his free time, he snowboards, cheers for the Philadelphia Eagles, and spends quality time with his girlfriend and daughter.
Marina will most likely be the very first person you speak with at Networks when you call or stop by our office. She grew up in California and Colorado but moved to Grand Junction in August 2014 to attend Colorado Mesa University.
She is currently attending Colorado Mesa University to achieve her Sociology degree. She holds her CPR and AED certifications.
Marina enjoys being active! She likes camping, climbing, biking, skiing, yoga and reading in her spare time. Marina also really likes going to concerts and being sociable. If she had her choice of vacations, she would prefer anywhere on a beach!
Lisa is the receptionist at our Montrose location. She grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado after her childhood. She recently moved to Montrose from Grand Junction to be closer to her father.
She has two daughters, a cat named JoNo and a PitBull named Chains.
Lisa is an avid Chiefs football fan who loves spending time outside with her girls; hiking, rock scavenging, and camping. Some of her favorite places to visit are Laguna Beach in California and home (Oklahoma).
Amelia is the receptionist for Networks Unlimited. She is also taking over inventory management for all the gadgets and gizmos that we keep in stock. Amelia moved back to Grand Junction to be closer to her family.
Amelia completed two years of school at Colorado State University and is working towards finishing her Bachelor’s Degree here.
In her free time, Amelia likes to hike, read, camp, spend time with her two-month-old niece, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Typical Colorado girl.
