Meet the team that makes Networks Unlimited so great!
Mark is the President of Networks Unlimited. He founded the company in 2001 after years in the technology industry.
Mark has lived in Maryland, Spain, Washington DC, Germany, California, South Dakota, and Mississippi as a military brat. He met his wife Amy, a Grand Junction local, in college. After living in Seattle for a few years, they decided Grand Junction was a better place to raise their family.
In his free time, you can find Mark hunting, mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a fantastic chef, who shares his gift with NU’s staff by cooking up breakfast and lunch when they’re good.
Preston, Vice President
Preston is Vice President and Service Manager at Networks Unlimited and has been with Networks Unlimited since 2005. He has been in the information technology field since 1990, after graduating with an Associates in Applied Science in Electronics.
Born in Sacramento but raised in Grand Junction. His parents thought the Grand Valley was a more suitable place to raise their two boys.
Preston and his family own a share in a houseboat buoyed at Bullfrog Marina, so he tries to sneak out early on Fridays to go boating at Lake Powell. He also enjoys golfing, fly fishing and traveling with his family and friends.
Darrell, Project Manager
Darrell was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He formerly worked in the construction field but wanted a warm inside office job, so he went to school for computer programming.
After a corporate transfer to Las Vegas and then another to Grand Junction, Darrell eventually joined forces with Networks Unlimited. Here, he focuses on the customer. Darrell coordinates all projects to ensure our clients get the BEST experience with the least confusion.
In his free time, Darrell loves spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He also loves going on motorcycle road trips!
Robert Benjamin, Director of Business Operations
Robert joined Networks Unlimited in 2006 and holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Purdue University.
His career in information technology has included work in Minneapolis, Wichita, Milwaukee and Atlanta before arriving in Grand Junction.
Robert spent his childhood summers on his grandfather’s cattle ranch in the Unaweep Canyon and always dreamed of living on the Western Slope. He’s proud fan of every Chicago sports team (his birthplace), a Rotarian with the Horizon Sunrise Rotary Club and enjoys traveling with his wife. He also enjoys peace and quiet with their two St. Bernard dogs – Rosie and Tilly.
Judy, Accounting Manager
Judy is the Accounting Manager at Networks Unlimited. If you have any billing questions or need to make a payment, Judy is your lady!
She grew up in Montrose and has always loved the outdoors.
Outside of work, you can find Judy dirt biking, snowmobiling, hiking, spending time in the mountains, exploring old mines, and traveling. Vancouver, British Columbia, is one of her favorite places to visit.
Hunter, Agreement and Billing Specialist
As the Agreement and Billing Specialist, Hunter works on customer agreements, takes customer payments, helps answer billing questions, and assists with other accounting duties.
Hunter was born and raised in Montrose but moved to Grand Junction in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University.
As a Colorado native, Hunter enjoys being outdoors either hiking, camping, jeeping, shooting or playing volleyball. She also loves spending quality time with her dogs and her husband.
Brittany, Business Development Manager
Brittany is our Business Development Manager and is originally from northern California but moved to Grand Junction in 2007.
She holds a BA in English Literature from Colorado Mesa University. Brittany has a background in technology, where she acquired great tech and client relation skills.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her daughter and two French Bulldogs! She is an avid snowboarder, traveler, and also enjoys kayaking, fishing, hunting, yoga, and weight lifting. Brittany loves visiting different college basketball arenas in the US.
Drew, Field Service Supervisor
Drew is our Field Service Supervisor and holds a degree in Network Information Technology. His certifications include: CSS Customer Service Certification by the Electronics Technicians Association, CompTIA A+ Certification, Brainbench Certificates in Microsoft Security and Storage Area Networks, and a Cisco CCNA Certification. He also has two years of Advanced 3D computer animation and computer art education (which are now hobbies).
Drew is originally from New Mexico but has lived in Grand Junction since 2001. He started working with Networks Unlimited in 2008.
If he isn’t working with a computer, Drew is spending time with his family, riding dirt bikes, fishing, or training for a fight. He is the reigning undefeated Street Fighter 2 Tournament Champion of Western Colorado.
Beau, Network Operations Supervisor
Beau is the Network Operations Supervisor at Networks Unlimited. He manages customer data backups, performs preventative maintenance, and actively monitors servers. He also assists with the Office 365 migrations and Microsoft SharePoint projects.
Beau grew up in Black Hawk and moved to Grand Junction for college. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Colorado Mesa University.
In his free time, Beau enjoys playing video games, lifting weights, snowboarding, playing guitar, kayaking, fishing, and camping.
Nick, NOC Services Administrator
Nick is one of our NOC Services Administrators. He was born and raised in Indiana. On a family road trip, when he first saw the Rocky Mountains, Nick knew he wanted to live in Colorado one day! In 2018, that day came and he happily made the made the move to Grand Junction.
Nick studied Information Technology at a vocational school in Indiana before making his way out west.
Outside of work, you’ll find Nick floating the river, mountain biking, hanging out with friends, playing video games or spending time with his girlfriend!
Alan, Field Engineer
Alan is one of our Field Engineers at our Montrose location. He enjoys solving problems and everyday presents new challenges to overcome!
Born and raised in Denver, Alan earned a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Colorado. He also holds various certificates in technology, including computer forensics and data recovery.
Outside of work, you’ll find Alan tending to his garden in the summer, unwinding with a good podcast (sometimes while gardening!), playing board games with friends, reading, and entertaining his cat, Torri.
Nickolas, Remote Support Supervisor
Nickolas leads our Remote Support Team as the Remote Support Supervisor.
Nickolas grew up as a military brat and lived in Germany during high school. After graduation, he moved to Grand Junction to attend CMU. Involved in the audio lab (music and audio productions), he earned his Bachelor’s degree in PR/Advertising/Broadcast Radio.
In his free time, Nickolas likes to play at the park with his young daughter, paint (acrylic and oil), collaborate with friends on projects, make music, or play video games.
Christian, Field Engineer
Christian is one of our Field Engineers. He helps solve on-site problems for customers.
Christian was born in Grand Junction, raised in Summit County and returned to GJ for college. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Though Christian spends his days working on computers and fixing networking problems, he also enjoys playing with computers in his free time. He also enjoys music and movies, like Happy Gilmore and Project X. Christian is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and pets (two cats and a dog).
Andy, Account Manager
Andy is one of our Account Managers. A Colorado native, Andy was born in Denver but raised in Grand Junction. He graduated with a marketing degree as an ambassador from Colorado Mesa University in 2009.
Since 2007 Andy has worked in sales and in executive management. He’s lived and worked in Denver, California, Florida, and Mexico! He came back home to live on the western slope and couldn’t be happier.
Outside of work you’ll find Andy hanging out with his two dogs, playing golf, floating the river, camping, spending time with friends, traveling, or watching sports!
Caleb, Network Operations Specialist
Caleb is a Network Operations Specialist. He works on customer solutions at their facility or helps with more complex problems when customers call.
Caleb was born and raised in the Grand Valley. He holds certifications in two separate phone systems, Aeonix and MiVoice Office 250, making him an enormous asset to work on our business phone solution, NUvoice.
When not working on computers, you’ll find Caleb spending time with his family or playing with his two Golden Retrievers. He also enjoys playing board games and video games with friends.
Devin, Remote Support Specialist
Devin is one of our Remote Support Specialists. Born in Pueblo but raised in Grand Junction, Devin is a Colorado native!
Devin attended Colorado Mesa University and studied Information Technology and has a background as a computer technician.
When not working, Devin enjoys playing his guitar, making music, playing video games, and camping in the summertime!
Terry, NOC Services Administrator
Terry is one of the NOC Services Administrators at Networks Unlimited. He works closely with our customers to monitor and prevent problems from happening. These functions can include backups, Office 365, email filtering, and anti-virus.
Terry was born and raised in Rifle and moved to Grand Junction in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado. Terry is also a member of the Mesa County Search and Rescue Ground Team and an amateur radio operator.
When not working, Terry enjoys getting outside with his wife and three kids. He also enjoys hiking and camping.
Dan, Field Engineer
Dan is one of our Field Engineers. Dan brings 25 years of experience to the Networks Unlimited engineering team. He is a network infrastructure data, voice, and security specialist. A Pennsylvania native, Dan holds a Degree in Electronics and Computer Technology and has completed many vendor certification credentials from Microsoft, Cisco and Sophos, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Dan is married and has two children, a step daughter, and a yellow labrador. He and his wife relocated to Grand Junction in 2021 to enjoy the Rockies and follow their dream.
Outside of work you’ll find Dan hiking, trail running, mountain biking, rock and ice climbing, summiting Colorado’s 14ers, or exploring the trails of Colorado and Utah in his Jeep Wrangler.
Craig, Shop Technician (GJ)
Craig is one our primary shop technician at our Grand Junction location. He works on broken computers and brings them back to life!
Craig was born in New Mexico, raised partly in Oklahoma before his family settled in Grand Junction – moving here to enjoy the mountains and the outdoors.
Craig and his wife Sandy have been married for over 25 years, have three kids, and eight grandkids! Craig enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, reading sci-fi/fantasy books, and playing PC based computer games.
Aron, Account Manager
Aron is a born and raised Grand Junction local. He graduated from Central High School and has always been interested in technology, computers, and gaming.
Working in the tech world for nearly the last 20 years, from retail to cell phones, Aron has a strong interest in technology and helping others with it.
Outside the office you can find Aron spending time with his wife and two kids. He also enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and camping, sipping whiskey, gaming, collecting sports cards and retro video games!
Nehemiah, Field Technician
Nehemiah is one of our Field Technicians.
Nehemiah holds a certificate of Computer Science from Red Rocks Community College and has also continued his education in Computer Science and Information Technology at Colorado Mesa University.
In his off time, Nehemiah enjoys spending time with his wife, rock climbing, mountain biking, and camping. He may also be found programming his life away in a quiet corner with a cup of coffee, or preferably a good beer!
Preston, Remote Support Specialist
Preston is one of our Remote Support Specialists.
Proud to be an 8th generation born Coloradoan, Preston moved to Grand Junction in 2002.
Preston is a huge cinema fan, and even helps with independent film making and content creation.
Chris M., NOC Services Administrator
Chris is one of our Remote Support Specialists. Originally from southern California, he now lives outside of Phoenix.
Earning an A+ Certification from CompTIA, Chris enjoys his work and learning something new everyday and in his words, “Figuring out ways to solve interesting problems.”
Outside of the office, you’ll find Chris spending time bowling with his team, Bowllet Club (the 2019 Punk Rock Bowling Champions), collecting comic books, passionately supporting the Arizona Coyotes hockey team, or attending rock ‘n roll concerts! He also enjoys spending time with his partner, Libby, and their adopted shelter dog, Allie.
Debbie, Accounting Assistant
Debbie is our Accounting Assistant.
When she isn’t providing support for Accounting and Sales here at NU, Debbie can be found spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, and riding side by sides.
Debbie has a big family that also includes several pets. Debbie has 3 dogs, a Goffin’s Cockatoo, a Bennet’s Wallaby named Luna and a 23-year-old cat.
Mitch, Remote Support Specialist
Mitch is one of our Remote Support Specialists and has been working in technology for several years. Originally from Chicago, Mitch had the opportunity to travel with his family and live in various places during his teen years.
With a desire to explore and adventure, Mitch traveled around the US starting at age 17 by himself and was able to learn a variety of trades and even worked as a volunteer fire firefighter at age 18.
When Mitch is not working he enjoys designing websites and mobile apps, along with playing music, and playing board games with friends. He also enjoys playing golf!
Cynthia, Grand Junction Receptionist
Cynthia is the Grand Junction Headquarters office receptionist. She calls Western Colorado home as she and her family moved to Grand Junction from Los Angeles, Calif. when she was 10 years old.
Cynthia studied graphic design in college and has a side photography business since 2013. She enjoys taking photos of seniors, family photos, weddings, or individuals!
When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her doing anything in the sun – like paddleboarding, hiking, or just hanging outside!
Nick M., Field Technician
Nick is one of our Field Technicians. He has a strong interest in technical drawing and studied Computer Aided Design at WCCC. He’s currently studying to become A+ Certified.
Nick got married 2014 and enjoys spending time with his wife and their two Rat Terrier dogs. He and his wife love to be together – whether it be playing sports (basketball, disk golf, football, etc.), or board games, camping, or watching movies, they work to make everyday a good day together!
Nick enjoys his volunteer work with Jehovah’s Witness and reading the Bible.
Mike - Field Engineer
Mike is one of our Field Engineers. A Colorado native, Mike was raised in Grand Lake and grew up on the marina!
A graduate from Colorado Mesa University, Mike earned his BS degree in Applied Science and Information Technology. He also is a Microsoft Certified Partner.
Outside the office you’ll find Mike spending time with his Cocker Spaniel, Aspen, fly fishing, mountain biking, camping, hiking, golfing, playing Disc golf, or video games!
