Frank Henry Equipment designs, manufactures and assembles specialty wireline equipment for the oil and gas industry in North America and around the world. After seeing opportunity and possibility for expansion, the Canadian company opened a second location in Fruita, Colorado in 2008. Four months later, they were faced with the troubled oil industry in Colorado. Challenged with a struggling industry and knowing they had employees with families that relied on them, Darcalee Debogorski and her team called for a meeting to draw up a game plan. “We thought of anything and everything we could to survive,” says Darcalee. Because North Dakota was booming, they decided to service their clients there by picking up and delivering equipment to North Dakota. They also decided to start manufacturing products they never have before just to make ends meet. “We wouldn’t have survived if we didn’t go out of the way for the customer,” says Darcalee.

Fast forward to 2013, and the Colorado company now operates from a 60,000 square foot facility with 37 full time employees. With increased opportunities and growth, Frank Henry equipment has even recently opened a third facility in San Antonio, Texas.
Darcalee says that team work and outstanding customer service are what has delivered the company through the challenging times. Looking across the 60,000 square foot shop, you see clearly defined work bays- each that are each staffed with people that know the next bay is relying on them. “We are like an assembly line, no department survives without the other,” Darcalee says.
Frank Henry’s outstanding customer service, safety practices, and over-all success were recently recognized in the 2012 Oil and Gas Awards when they were awarded the title, “Industry Supplier of the Year.” Through their leading innovation and outstanding customer service, Frank Henry is positioned for even more growth and success for the future.
