Before Bassett Furniture opened in February 2005, owners Rick and Susan Wise were approached by Bassett Furniture Industries to open a store on the Western Slope of Colorado. From 1993 until 2004, they had owned and operated a smaller store called Home Front Interiors in Montrose, Colorado.
